Need to Get Rid of those Pesky Cookies... Here's How

http://MonyColeman.freeandpowerful.com

How do I delete cookies? And just what are cookies, anyway?
Cookies themselves typically aren't as evil as most stories might have you believe. They're nothing more than some information a web site can save on your computer that the same web site can pick up again the next time you return. That's it. That's a cookie.
It's what some sites use cookies for that has some people concerned and why you might care about things like deleting cookies, and perhaps even looking inside of them.

Cookies can be used for many things. The simplest case is remembering who you are. When you visit a site like Amazon.com and log in, Amazon might place a cookie on your machine that contains youraccount name, and the fact that you're logged in. When you come back a day later Amazon.com picks up the cookie and sees who you are and that you had successfully logged in the day before.
Privacy concerns typically arise from cookies used by embedded advertising or other content on websites; sometimes called "third party" cookies. Since the ads are typically served up from some other website, they can drop a cookie of their own. Advertisers can then keep track of how often you visit which sites they have their advertising on.
Now before the paranoia kicks in, let's be clear about something - they don't care about you specifically. Sorry, but you're just not that important. The sheer volume of data alone makes tracking any one individual a difficult task. What's typically interesting is aggregate data: the data that says things like X percent of the visitors to this website also visit that website.
That's not to say that cookies can't be misused; it's just that it's typically a lot more work than it's worth.
You can see what cookies you have and what they contain, but it's typically not particularly interesting. InInternet Explorer, hit ToolsInternet Options, the General tab, underneath Temporary Internet Files click on Settings. In the resulting dialog click on View Files. That'll bring up a list of all all temporary files, including cookies. I typically click on the Name column header to sort by name, and then scroll down to the point where the name begins with "Cookie:". There they are.
Another approach is to download a Cookie viewing program to make things a little more readable. I've used Cookie Viewer from KarenWare.
In either case, if you look at the contents of a cookie, they're typically very obscure. It's common practice to simply store a unique identifier of some sort and not much more. That ID usually makes sense only to the website that put it there, and effectively makes the cookie useless to others even if they could get at it.
Deleting cookies is easy. You probably saw the button on the way to viewing them earlier: back in IE, hitToolsInternet Options, the General tab, and there's a Delete Cookies... button. Click it, answer yes to the confirmation, and the cookies are deleted. And, among other things, you'll now have to login again to every site that had saved your login using a cookie.
You can control how Internet Explorer handles cookies to reduce any concerns you may still have. On thePrivacy tab of Internet Options you can set the level of cookie handling IE should follow. That includes not only allowing, or blocking, all cookies, but also controlling third-party cookies resulting from things like embedded ads I mentioned earlier. And you can define an explicit list of sites from which you're prepared to accept cookies.

Build Your Business the Free & Powerful Way

Build Your Business the Free & Powerful Way
If you are not yet building your business the Free & Powerful way, then pay close attention.
Many network marketers are involved in multiple programs or business
opportunities. Therefore, using the power of leverage is going to be vital to your success (and sanity) in this industry.
Leverage simply refers to maximizing results with minimal effort, and I’m
specifically going to discuss how to use an absolutely Free & Powerful system to build your programs or businesses. Getting all of your available programs in front of the most amount of eyes and mouse clicks!
The actual system is called Free & Powerful and is absolutely AMAZING. It is designed to help you build your teams in up to 3 programs of your choice.

That’s any three programs you want and you can change them out anytime you want as well.

That feature by itself is worth checking this system out, but there is a whole lot more. The following programs are all OPTIONAL, but completing them gives you the ability to make $150 over and over and over again from your free referrals into the system. Here is the breakdown:
First, the Free & Powerful system gives you free money as soon as you join!
You join for free and the system gives you free money right at step 1.
Additionally, when you refer someone else to the Free & Powerful system and
they complete step 1, they get free money AND you get more free money.
This happens over and over and over, just for giving away the free Free &
Powerful system.
Next, at step 2 you have an opportunity to join a program called MyPCBackup.
MyPCBackup is a great tool to have because it backs up your computer files and
photos daily to protect your information in case your computer crashes or gets
lost or something. Everyone can use this type of service. Additionally,
MyPCBackup will pay you $50 for each person that you refer that gets it as well.
That’s between 500% and 1000% referral commissions depending on which
service you get, on EVERY SALE! The beauty of having it built into the Free &
Powerful system is that all you have to do is focus on giving away the Free &
Powerful system for free, and if they sign up for MyPCBackup they go under you
and you get paid $50 for each person. If you already have MyPCBackup, all you
need to do is enter your affiliate id into the system and it will work the same way
for you!
Then, at step 3 you have an opportunity to build a business called MCA or Motor
Club of America. This is an opportunity with great benefits that you can join for
$40 and make $80 on ever referral you get that joins MCA. That’s 200%
commissions and the company pays weekly every Friday. If you are already an
MCA member, you can just enter your MCA username and build that busines on
autopilot as well. Again, just focus on giving away your free Free & Powerful system
and make $80 for each referral that joins MCA inside of the system!
Additionally, you also have access to two optional Bonus programs inside of Free &
Powerful. One is a free RX card that will give you discounts on prescription drug
purchases and a mindset training course that you can purchase for $27 and receive
100% commissions on if any of your referrals purchase it as well.
As you can see, the Free & Powerful system is AMAZING! Not only are you able to
use it to promote ANY 3 programs that you want regardless of where you are in the
world, you also have an opportunity to make money from the 3 optional programs
listed above and build everything on autopilot just by giving away the Free & Powerful
system!
Oh yeah, the Free & Powerful system also provides you with training on how to get
free traffic from some of the top Safelists, Traffic Exchanges, Banner Ads, Facebook,
Twitter and YouTube. This is maybe my favorite part. I have been searching for hours and hours and hours for a step by step guide, a neat and tidy and organized guide to help me figure out and navigate the world of network marketing. What I had found on my own was bits and pieces to the bigger picture. Here the system explains in simple terms how to be successful in network marketing.
So are you ready to check it out? There’s no risk and you can even keep the free
money at step 1 if you decide not to use the system!  CLICK HERE NOW!
Take advantage of this system to build your businesses the easy way…the Free &
Powerful way!
Blessings all Day!

P.S. When you join and explore the system, don’t forget to click on the maroon,
blue, and purple banners. Ask me about the platinum ad as well (update coming)!

On the Anniversary of Katrina...

Isssac Threatens the Gulf Coast

New Orleans (CNN) -- With less than a day to go before landfall, governments, business and residents in New Orleans and the central Gulf coast rushed to complete last minute preparations and braced themselves to bear the brunt of Tropical Storm Isaac.
"We have a plan in place to secure the city, and we have a plan to respond quickly in the event of emergencies," New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu said. "We're confident that the work we've done in the last few years makes us fully capable of handling this type of storm."
Isaac has taken on an added significance because its projected landfall Wednesday falls on the anniversary of the devastating Hurricane Katrina.
Katrina devastated New Orlean's Lower Ninth Ward in 2005, but resident Herbert Gettridge pledged to weather the latest storm to batter the Crescent City.
"I'm not going no place. I'm going to stay right here and see what happens," he told CNN affiliate WVUE-TV. "I can swim if it floods again."

Will the levees hold in New Orleans?

See Isaac brewing from space

Bay St. Louis rebuilt, ready for Isaac
Gettridge, 89, has rebuilt his home twice -- once after Hurricane Betsy in 1965 and then, 40 years later, following Katrina.
"Whatever damage it does, I can put it together again," he said.
Most of Katrina's nearly 1,800 deaths occurred when the protective levees around New Orleans failed, flooding the city. But Landrieu said the levees have had $10 billion in improvements since 2005, and the city's pump stations have backup generators ready in case of electrical outages.
One of those stations is the biggest in the world and some can move as much as 150,000 gallons per second.
"This is the best system that the greater New Orleans area has ever seen," Col. Ed Fleming of the Army Corps of Engineers said.
The region appeared to catch a break as the system was slow to strengthen.
Isaac is expected to be weaker than Katrina, which came ashore on August 29, 2005, as a Category 3 hurricane with 125-mph winds.
At 5 a.m. ET, Isaac's winds remained at 70 mph -- just under hurricane strength, the National Hurricane Center in Miami reported.
"Strengthening is forecast, and Isaac is likely to become a hurricane later today," forecasters said. "Additional strengthening is forecast until the center moves inland."
Isaac was centered about 125 miles (205 kilometers) south-southeast of the mouth of the Mississippi River, and it was moving to the northwest at 12 mph.

But tropical-storm-force winds extended more than 200 miles from the center, and hurricane warnings stretched from Morgan City, Louisiana, to the Alabama-Florida border. Tropical storm warnings extended eastward to Destin, Florida, and westward from Morgan City to Cameron, Louisiana, about 200 miles west of New Orleans.
There was also the potential for a lot of rain, as much as 18 inches in a few areas of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and the extreme western Florida panhandle, the hurricane center said.
As the storm heads north, its rain would benefit some drought-ravaged states like Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.
Landrieu has not ordered an evacuation of his city, most of which is below sea level and protected by a network of levees. But he said he would "strongly urge" about 900 people who live outside the levee system to leave -- and if anyone else is thinking about getting out, "now would be a good time to go."
Others in low-lying Louisiana parishes and in coastal counties and barrier islands of Mississippi, Alabama and northwest Florida were told to clear out ahead of the storm. In Alabama, state Emergency Management Agency Director Art Faulkner warned that strong winds and high water may affect the Mobile area even if the storm hits as far west as Louisiana.
"It is a very large storm," Faulkner said. "And oftentimes we confuse and focus on a specific dot that may be identified as the center of the storm when very dangerous conditions may exist as far as 200 miles from that specific dot."
The storm lashed Cuba and the Florida Keys over the weekend after slamming into Haiti, where at least 19 people had been reported dead by Monday, the country's civil protection agency reported.
The Hurricane Center projected storm surges of 3 to 6 feet for the Florida Panhandle, 6 to 9 feet for the Alabama coast and 6 to 12 feet for the Mississippi and southeastern Louisiana shores.
In Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Hancock County authorities ordered residents of low-lying areas to evacuate Monday evening. The National Park Service had already ordered visitors to leave the barrier islands off the Mississippi coast.
Jackson County, which includes the coastal cities of Pascagoula, Gautier and Ocean Springs, ordered evacuations for anyone living south of U.S. Highway 90 -- a major artery along the Mississippi coast -- or for those living in mobile homes, along rivers and in other vulnerable areas.
"Those residents that experienced flooding during Hurricane Katrina should evaluate what the effects of the possible 8-12 foot tidal surge would have to their property and make an informed decision with regard to evacuation," a message from the county Board of Supervisors added.
But on Dauphin Island, south of Mobile, many residents were preparing to sit out Isaac at home, said Alexa Alexander.
"We are boarding up (and) getting supplies ready," said Alexander, who lives and tends bar on the island. "We've had a little bit of people leave Dauphin Island, but not much. Most of the locals are going to ride it out."
Dauphin Island was badly damaged by Katrina, which cut the island in half -- a gouge since filled by sand and rock.
In nearby Bayou La Batre, Alabama, shrimpers hunkered down ahead of the storm.
"All the boats are coming in, we're anchoring them down and getting ready for this blow hoping it's not too bad," Dominick Ficarino, the owner of Dominick's Seafood told affiliate WPMI-TV.
Katrina dealt his business a brutal blow in 2005.
"I lost my processing plant during Katrina all the way to the slab," said Ficarino.
Residents of St. Charles Parish and parts of Jefferson Parish and Plaquemines Parish in Louisiana had been ordered to clear out as well. Some 9,000 residents in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, were ordered to evacuate Monday morning, along with the towns of Jean Lafitte, Crown Point and Barataria.
"We're worried about tidal surge," Jean Lafitte Mayor Tim Kerner said.
Airports across the region also made plans to shut down as the storm passed. New Orleans shut its international airport after its last flight Monday night, spokesman Ryan Berni said, while smaller airports in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida also announced closures starting Tuesday.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal called on residents in coastal parishes prone to flooding to voluntarily evacuate.
The approaching storm even shook up pro football player Courtney Roby -- a wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints.
"Kinda a scary feeling of uncertainty," he said via Twitter.
Mississippi officials dispatched 1,500 National Guard troops to the state's three southern counties to help with emergency operations, as well as 45 state troopers to ease traffic flow.
The state has distributed 10,000 sandbags to residents ahead of the storm.
"In short, we have done everything in our power to be prepared for the storm," Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant said.
Most of the storm's ferocity bypassed Florida's west coast and the Republican National Convention in Tampa, where the schedule will begin in earnest on Wednesday after organizers pushed events back a day over concerns about the storm. The system passed well west of Tampa, although it did soak the bay area with heavy rain and blustery winds.
CNN's Mariano Castillo, Matt Smith, Josh Levs, Dave Alsup, Chelsea J. Carter, Tom Cohen, Martin Savidge, Gary Tuchman and Jim Spellman, and journalist Jean Junior Osman contributed to this report.

Legit MLM vs. Pyramid Schemes and Scams

Legit MLM vs. Pyramid Schemes and Scams

I hear so many people saying that they are looking at MCA and seeing nothing but a pyramid scheme. Those people are not doing their homework.

In 1979, the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) handed down a landmark ruling. They found that one of the industry's founders, Amway was not a pyramid scheme. That ruling has paved the way for hundreds of MLMs to follow the FTC's ruling. Motor Club of America’s product marketing and business model is based well within the 1979 ruling based on the following below.

1. The Motorclub of America doesn't pay associates for simply recruiting new salespeople or associates. Selling and marketing the motor club membership is the only way an MCA distributor gets compensated for their efforts.

2. Making money through Motor Club of America is accomplished by selling memberships directly to consumers and by coaching your team of salespeople, also known as your downline.

3. Motor Club of America doesn't require its associates to purchase so called starter kits, or impose a minimum monthly quota of sales to stay a member of the company. The only requirement is that the associates be a product of the product which simply means that they not only sell the memberships but they are card holders as well and use the memberships in their daily lives.

4. Motor Club of America stresses that the main difference between a legitimate MLM business model and a pyramid scheme is that a legitimate MLM is focused on selling products, not recruiting more salespeople. In a legitimate MLM, it should be possible to make money by simply selling products directly to customers.

Be wary of anyone who tries to sell you on an MLM opportunity by flaunting their personal wealth. Realize that many of the people who claim to have made millions through the MLM industry have actually made their money selling books and videos on how to make millions through MLMs.

Bottom line: If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

The Models are back... America's Next Top Model

With a revamped judging panel and on a new night, thepremiere of America’s Next Top Model: College Edition drew 1.26 million viewers and a 0.6/1 in adults 18-49 last night. In adults 18-49, Top Modelmatched the debut of its most recent midseason cycle. It was up by a fraction in total viewers (1.26 million vs. 1.17 million) and down a tenth in 18-34. Given the series’ late August launch on the lower-trafficked Friday night, the numbers are not that bad but they dash hopes for a major rebound of the reality veteran whose last season premiere dove 45% year-to-year for the franchise’s lowest-rated opener. CBS is projected to win Friday with an NFL exhibition game.

No Man's Land... Sorry boys...

No man’s land: Women-only city planned for Saudi Arabia

AFP Photo / Fayez Nureldine )

Saudi Arabia is to build a new city exclusively for women. The Gulf kingdom is working on the narrow junction between strict Sharia law and the aspirations of active females who wish to pursue their own careers.
The new plan is to combine women’s desire to work in the modern age and provide a job environment that would go hand-in-hand with the country’s Sharia law. The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) has been charged to lead the country into a new era.
The ambitious mono-city is now being designed with construction to begin next year. The municipality in the Eastern city of Hafuf is expected to attract 500 million riyals (US$133 million) in investments and it will create around 5,000 jobs in the textiles, pharmaceuticals and food processing industries. There will be women-run firms and production lines for women.
Saudi Sharia law does allow women to work, given that her essential duties of homemaking should not be neglected. But in reality around 15 per cent of women are represented in the workforce, according to some estimates.
The Modon plan shadows the government’s desire for women to play a more important role in the development of the country. Among the stated objectives are to create job spots for young people.
"I'm sure that women can demonstrate their efficiency in many aspects and clarify the industries that best suit their interests, their nature and their ability," Modon’s deputy director-general, Saleh Al-Rasheed, told Saudi daily al-Eqtisadiah.
Saudi’s existing industrial cities already have factories owned by women, as well as companies that employ a small portion of the female population.
Apart from Hafuf, the Saudis are developing more women-only polis projects.
We are now working on a second industrial city for women,” said Saleh Al Rasheed. “We have plans to establish a number of women-only industries in various parts of the kingdom.
The kingdom’s rampant desire to boost its citizen workforce participation and change the women’s unemployment rate is also changing the retail landscape. The state is attempting to replace foreign salespeople with Saudi women in its female apparel shops, according to a research carried out by Booz and Co.
This summer, women started replacing sales staff in cosmetics and perfume shops, only half a year after they replaced male sales staff in lingerie stores. By the end of the year, women plan to replace their gender counterparts in stores selling abayas, the traditional black cloak worn by women.
But despite the degree of emancipation, women's rights in Saudi Arabia are still defined by Islam and lack basic freedoms found in many Western cultures. For instance, Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that prohibits women from driving.
Yet recently efforts have been made to change the societal structure in the kingdom.
Last September, King Abdullah announced that women will be able to vote and run in the 2015 local elections, and be appointed to the Consultative Assembly.
This July, women also obtained the right to represent their country at the London Olympic Games.
